Kara Fitch
Kara grew up caring for her own horses on her parents farm in Middleborough, Ma. She developed a strong foundation as a member of the United States Pony Club. Kara's horses, growing up, were always challenging, which instilled in her the drive to succeed. While attending University of Connecticut she was a member of the UConn Vaulting team. Kara went on to become a high school Biology teacher for over ten years. While teaching is Kara's passion she ultimately left the school atmosphere to raise her four young children and open Fitch Farm. Teaching children about horses and farm animals on her own farm is her dream come true! She is excited to share the farm with you!
Dana Bullock
Dana began her equestrian journey at six and developed a passion for training horses as a teenager with her heart horse, Trooper. With over 30 years of experience, she guides riders of all levels to success. Dana brings 19 years of high school teaching experience into the equestrian arena, blending teaching skills and patience. She fosters a comprehensive learning environment, incorporating horsemanship and riding techniques.
Dana adapts instruction to all ages and skill levels, ensuring riders progress at their own pace. She believes in a holistic approach, including horse care, grooming, and management. Dana is also the owner and designer of Dana Marie Designs, an apparel and accessory business inspired by the equestrian lifestyle. Kristen Hylan
Kristen Hylan has over 30 years in the horse industry. She started riding as a young child and gained experience working at farms. She met Kara 15 years ago, and as kindred spirits ran a successful equestrian business together before starting families. She now joins Kara at Fitch Farm, focusing on passing on the art of riding and horsemanship. Kristen is known for addressing behavioral issues in equine clients using traditional and natural horsemanship methods. She coaches her students towards excellence, perseverance, and sound horsemanship, adapting her techniques to each rider’s goals and abilities. But always insists her students commit to bonding with their equestrian partner. As an educator and nurse practitioner, she applies her knowledge to riders' learning needs and body mechanics. Currently completing her Doctorate at Yale, she enjoys riding with her best friends and two daughters at Fitch Farm.
